The Alexis Lake showing consists of about 1,800 tonnes of hydro- magnesite containing 80 percent Mg(HCO3)2, 1 per cent Al2O3 + Fe2O3 and 9.2 per cent insoluble. Although no geological information is available from this showing, the deposit is likely to be a residual precipitate.
